Benchmark Database Closing

Effective September 14, 2011, Praesentia will close its subsidiary, Benchmark Database.  With fewer and fewer independent physican practices remaining, the market for this online repository of managed care fees dwindled. Practices still maintaing data on the site will have until October 15, 2011 to download their final reports.

In response to a more consolidated, and largely, employed physician community, Praesentia will expand its contract negotiations work by partnering with several elite statistical and actuarial firms to conduct more intensive fee schedule and financial modeling.
